These are sturdy canvas shoes - lightweight without being flimsy - and they look good too. The velcro fastening is strong and effective. The wide fitting makes for extra comfort. This is the second pair of these my husband has had; we found the first by chance but looked for them specifically this time because they had been so comfortable and had lasted well.
It would be better if these shoes would open further down nearer the toes in order to get foot in more comfortably.
A nice shoe but goes narrow at opening also no give across opening. Had to be returned
